These work with Claude Code, Codex, and Goose. You'll need:

  • An Apollo.io account (free tier works for discovery)
  • Your ICP definition (who you're selling to – Claude helps you build this if you don't have one)

How It Works

Step 1: Define Your Search Criteria

Before touching Apollo, Claude asks you a few focused questions:

  • What does your product do? Who gets the most value?
  • Company size, industry, geography?
  • Which roles make the buying decision?
  • Any deal-breakers (company stage, tech stack, vertical)?

From your answers, Claude generates a structured ICP document and translates it into Apollo search filters – title keywords, employee ranges, industry codes, location.

Step 2: Find Leads on Apollo

Using the apollo-lead-finder skill, Claude runs a two-phase search.

Phase 1 – Discovery (free). Claude queries Apollo's People Search with your filters. Returns names, titles, companies, and LinkedIn URLs for hundreds of matches.

Phase 2 – Selective enrichment (paid credits). Claude picks the strongest matches based on title fit and company relevance, then reveals verified emails and phone numbers only for those. Typically 30–40% of leads get enriched, not 100%.

Results are deduplicated against any contacts you've already reached.

Step 3: Qualify and Score Each Lead

Using the lead-qualification skill, Claude builds a reusable qualification prompt from your ICP criteria, then batch-scores every lead. Each one gets:

  • A qualification score (1–10)
  • A one-line rationale ("Series B fintech, VP Engineering, actively hiring for the role you solve – strong fit")
  • A pass/fail recommendation

Leads below your threshold get dropped.

Step 4: Draft Personalized Cold Emails

Using the email-drafting skill, Claude writes cold email sequences using proven outreach frameworks. Each email references something specific about the prospect's company or role.

The cold-email-outreach skill orchestrates the full campaign – goal alignment, sequence design, and formatting for your outreach platform.

  • Sequences are typically 3–4 emails over 10–14 days
  • Each email has a distinct angle (not "just following up")
  • Personalization references real context from the qualification step

Step 5: Draft LinkedIn DMs for Multi-Channel

Cold email alone converts at 2–5%. Adding LinkedIn roughly doubles your touch rate.

Using the linkedin-outreach skill, Claude generates personalized connection requests and follow-up DM sequences. Exported ready for Dripify, Botdog, or Expandi.
